A new month means a fresh new Hotlist. Catch the latest coverage of The Agency’s properties and personalities in top publications and news networks, from Architectural Digest to People MagazineThe Wall Street Journal and more.

5824 JED SMITH ROAD - The Wall Street Journal got the scoop when a stellar new listing with an intergalactic pedigree hit the market. Represented by Mauricio UmanskyEmil Hartoonian and Arvin Haddad, this Hidden Hills estate is out of this world, complete with a private observatory, music studio and a galaxy’s worth of Star Wars memorabilia.

497 CHALK SOUND ROAD - In a New York Times report on the ongoing appeal of investing in Turks & Caicos real estate, the publication interviewed Sean O’Neill of The Agency Turks & Caicos and highlighted 497 Chalk Sound Road, a 3,538-square-foot estate across the road from Sapodilla Bay Beach. Turks & Caicos has become “a strong region for investment in second and third homes over the last few years,” Sean told NYT. “Building codes, convenient air-travel options from the United States and Canada, and use of the U.S. dollar have proven key to our recent success.”

1456 SUNSET PLAZA DRIVE - The Lew House—a noted design by modernist architect Richard Neutra—landed a feature in The Los Angeles Times. Represented by Billy Rose, the multi-level, 62-year-old hillside house was expanded and restored more than a decade ago by the design-build firm Marmol Radziner. It is available to lease for $26,000 a month.

FARRAH BRITTANY - In a profile by Haute Residences, top-producing agent and Umansky Team member Farrah Brittany discussed her early interest in the business and what agents entering the field should know. “Social media is definitely an incredible tool to gain exposure for your business and to build a brand. It’s also a great business card, where both buyers and sellers can verify who you are and what you’ve done, giving you credibility,” Farrah told Haute Residences. “I use my social media to give followers a peek into my personal life so that they also know who I am as a person. That way, if they feel I’m someone they can relate to or connect with, they are more likely to want to work with me.”

1300 BEVERLY ESTATE DRIVE - The Agency’s Stefan Pommepuy gave Architectural Digest an up-close look inside this head-turning hillside property in Beverly Hills, leading the publication on a comprehensive video tour that (of course) included a stop by the 150 million-year-old dinosaur fossil that looks out onto the spacious motor court. Stefan shares this $37.95 million listing with The Agency’s Blair Chang.

964 W. CERES ROAD - Palm Springs Life landed Ruben Valerio and Jeff Kohl’s artfully renovated listing in Vista Las Palmas. First built in 1961 by the Alexander Construction Company, the estate is described as having “undergone a high-end renovation while maintaining all of its midcentury charm” — including triple bypass textured doors that open to the den, a breeze block wall screen in the living room and the rock-facade fireplace.

143 WHITE PINE CANYON ROAD - Mansion Global made Sean Railton’s listing in Park City its “Listing of the Day” earlier this month, spotlighting the estate’s epic hilltop location and amenities. The ultra-private home was designed by award-winning architect Clive Bridgwater in collaboration with the estate’s owners. “(The owners) had a lot of input into the design of the house and they wanted to make sure each room had a great view,” Sean told Mansion Global. “Most of them are ‘down valley’ views, which are considered the best.”

ARVIN HADDAD - The Agency’s Arvin Haddad represented the buyer in the sale of Irish actor Colin Ferrell’s Hollywood Hills home for $1.3 million. PeopleArchitectural DigestObserver and Yahoo all highlighted the sale of the English country-style, 2,736-square-foot house, which boasts tranquil canyon views.

LOS CABOS & PUERTA VALLARTA InMexico reported on the growth of the area—from Cabo to Riviera Nayarit—and newly available real estate investment opportunities. “The peso is currently favorable to the dollar,” Janet Jensen, Partner and Agent of The Agency Los Cabos told InMexico. “Property is still affordable and new resort-branded real estate offerings are available for those looking for amenity-based, worry-free ownership with all the perks, such as Chileno Bay Golf Club, Villas del Mar and Puerto Los Cabos.” Like Cabo, Riviera Nayarit is also experiencing growth—a new highway will make traveling in the region easier while new developments are already drawing in buyers. Mandarina, a luxury development less than one hour north of Puerto Vallarta, will be home to One & Only Mandarina, opening in June, and One & Only’s first-ever villa collection.
